An initiative of the Malaysian Government which aims to support our MSMEs’ digital adoption that streamline operations, enhance productivity, and expand market reach.
In line with the MADANI Budget 2025, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has introduced a RM50 million Digital Matching Grant through Bank Simpanan Nasional (BSN) to accelerate the digital transformation of MSMEs, including local entrepreneurs and small vendors.
Eligible and approved MSMEs will receive Grant amounting up to 50% or a maximum of RM 5,000 of total invoice amount for their selected digital solutions from MDEC’s list of Digitalisation Partners.
An overview of how the grant works
Eligibility for MSME Digital Grant MADANI 2025
• Malaysian-Owned: The company is at least 60% owned by Malaysian.
• Registration Requirement: The company is registered with either the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), Local Authorities (PBT), or Malaysia Co-operative Societies Commission (SKM).
• Operating Duration: The MSME has been in operation for at least 6 months.
• Annual Turnover: MSMEs which have been in operation is required to have a minimum annual sales turnover of RM50,000.
• Previous Grants: MSMEs/Cooperatives must not have received previous Digitalisation Matching Grants.
Documents Required
• Completed MSME Madani Digital Grant application form;
• Identification: A copy of the Identification Card or Passport of Director(s) / Partner(s) / Proprietor(s) of the MSME / applicant appointed by the Coop, whichever is applicable;
• Business license: A copy of MSME registration license (CCM or any similar forms under the Companies Act 2016) / SSM business profile. For Coop, a copy of SKM registration certificate;
• Financial documents: Latest audited account statement or latest financial management account statement or MSME/Coop bank statement for the latest two (2) months;
• Invoice: Quotation/Invoice for the selected digitalisation solutions from the Digitalisation Partners listed by MDEC.
